After flying high against Propel Braddock Hills on Friday, the Bishop Canevin Crusaders came back down to earth. Bishop Canevin was dealt a 89-62 loss at the hands of the Mountaineers on Saturday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (57), Bishop Canevin still had to take the loss.
Pace Prosser continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Berlin Brothersvalley, shooting 7-for-10 from deep and dropping a triple-double on 38 points, 14 rebounds, and 12 assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Craig Jarvis, who scored 26 points.
Bishop Canevin's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Berlin Brothersvalley, the win was the 14th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-1.
Bishop Canevin will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against the at 7:30 p.m. on February 6th. One thing working in Eden Christian Academy's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last eight matchups. As for Berlin Brothersvalley, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Ramblers at 7:00 p.m.
