St. Mary Catholic was forced to take a big loss against they on Monday, they got the better of them on Friday. They put the hurt on the Mishicot Indians with a sharp 11-2 win. The Zephyrs' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Joe Pirillo and Jacob Ernsting made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Pirillo pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. As for Mishicot, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Manitowoc Lutheran at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Lancers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.88 runs per game on average), something the Indians will no doubt try to take advantage of.
