Dionne Sims Drops League-Best Performance on Friday
Starting off the list is King's Dionne Sims, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Sims' rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 106 rushing yards. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 67 yards.
King now has a winning record of 3-2. Sims and King will welcome Summer Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Blake Thomas' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Summer Creek over Atascocita
While Blake Thomas delivered a dominant performance on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Summer Creek. Thomas was unstoppable, rushing for 112 yards and a touchdown, while also throwing for 250 yards and a touchdown.
Thomas is probably looking forward to his next game, a home matchup against King on Saturday. When Thomas last faced the Panthers back in October of 2023, he rushed for 59 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 115 yards and two touchdowns.
