 Lake Worth can attribute much of their success to  Ileysha Rodriguez, who  had 17  aces, three  digs,  and two  blocks. Those  two  blocks gave  Rodriguez a new career-high.  Nancy Garcia Chun was another key player,  getting eight  aces.
Pahokee's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Lake Worth, their  victory (their first of the  season) made their record 1-11.
