Cartersville's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Nas Bennett led the charge by scoring 19 points. Another player making a difference was Monte Tolbert, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds.
Woodland has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season. As for Cartersville, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 7-10 record this season.
Woodland lost to Cartersville at home by a decisive 60-46 margin in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. Can Woodland avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
