Cove had a rough outing against Adrian/Jordan Valley last week, losing 56 - 8. Adrian/Jordan Valley was expected to win (it is ranked 10th in the state, seven places ahead of Cove), but it was still a bitter blow.
As for Camas Valley, it kept its home record unblemished after another positive outing on its own turf. It scooted by Triad last week with a score of 34 - 16.
Cove's defeat dropped it to 5-4 while Camas Valley's win brought it to 8-1. We'll see if Camas Valley can add another positive mark to its record or if Cove can shake its loss and take the spring out of Camas Valley's step.
