Rowe saw some tournament action on Thursday. They walked away with a 7-3 victory over Palmview.
Savanah Garcia made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. Garcia was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, Mackenzie Garza was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Mayte Hansen, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.
Rowe was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .381. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Palmview only posted a batting average of .211.
Meanwhile, Edinburg North and Los Fresnos finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 tie on Thursday.
The win got Rowe back to even at 1-1. Edinburg North's draw makes their record 0-1-1 this season.
