On Friday, Wood is packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Clovis East at 4:30 PM.
Last Friday, Wood couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They ended up on the wrong side of a painful 7-34 walloping at Vintage hands.
Clovis East had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They blew past Lemoore 24-0.
Clovis East's lifted them to 1-0 while Wood's loss dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if Clovis East can add another positive mark to their record or if Wood can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Clovis East's step.
