McKeel Academy entered their tilt with Lakeland Christian on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 57-49 victory over the Lakeland Christian Vikings. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 63-62 back in December of 2024.

Despite the loss, Lakeland Christian still got an impressive performance from DJ Howard, who went 9 for 17 en route to 20 points and five assists. Colton Donahue was another key player, going 5 of 10 on his way to 13 points.

McKeel Academy has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 11-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.3 points per game. As for Lakeland Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-18.
