The Michigan School for the Deaf Tartars's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They were dealt a 75-25 loss at the hands of Indiana School for the Deaf. Michigan School for the Deaf was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-6.
It was another big night for Dylan Puent, who dropped a triple-double on 30 points, 20 rebounds, and ten assists for Indiana School for the Deaf. The game was Puent's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Zander Gonzalez was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Michigan School for the Deaf's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Indiana School for the Deaf, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-1.
Michigan School for the Deaf will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on More Academy at 5:00 p.m. on January 9, 2024. Indiana School for the Deaf will be home for the holidays to greet International at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
