Norcross (Ga.) snapped the 5-game winning streak of
Colquitt County (Moultrie, Ga.), with a 41-27 victory on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a passing touchdown in the first quarter, the Blue Devils led 24-10 at the half.
Norcross expanded its lead to 21 points entering the fourth quarter. NHS scored two times in the third, including once on a field goal.
With the win the Blue Devils extended their winning streak to 14 games. Norcross defeated the Wildcats 34-20 last week.
The Packers'
Will Bannister played well. The senior kicked two field goals and three extra points.
Alvin Kamara was the top performer for NHS. The senior running back ran for one touchdown. He has now scored 28 touchdowns on the season.
Colquitt County came in surrendering 17.8 points per game this season. CC struggled against the Blue Devils' offense, which entered the game scoring 38.2 points per game.
The defeat comes as a step back for Colquitt County, which notched a 31-15 victory over Parkview in its previous outing.
