Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lyndhurst). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Clifton Mustangs 86-59. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Golden Bears as it put an end to their five-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Lyndhurst's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Clifton, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lyndhurst will host Weehawken at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Clifton, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Eastside at 4:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
