Annapolis Area Christian has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will take on the Indian Creek Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Saturday, Annapolis Area Christian was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 57-53 to Broadneck. While losing is never fun, Annapolis Area Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 213th, while Broadneck is ranked 60th).
Meanwhile, Indian Creek pushed their score all the way to 60 on Wednesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were dealt a 88-60 loss at the hands of Arundel.
Annapolis Area Christian bumped their record down to 0-4 with that loss, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. That rough patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.9 points per game. As for Indian Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.
