Hennessey had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11 runs) and they went ahead and made it eight on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Hinton Comets as they made off with a 17-3 victory. While the Eagles didn't have the best season last year (they finished 13-18), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Hennessey's win bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Hinton, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

Hennessey didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 6-1 victory against Newkirk on the 27th. As for Hinton, they will face off against Amber-Pocasset at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
