Softball Recap: Spring Garden Has No Trouble Against Piedmont

Spring Garden barely beat Piedmont the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Spring Garden Panthers were the clear victor by a 9-3 margin over the Piedmont Bulldogs on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won three contests by six runs or more so far this season.

The win got Spring Garden back to even at 4-4. As for Piedmont, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Spring Garden has already played their next match, a 15-0 victory against Coosa Christian on the 17th. Piedmont will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Cedar Bluff at 5:00 p.m. on March 25th.
