While losing is never fun, Fork Union Military Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 294th, while the Yellow Jackets are ranked 133rd).
Randolph-Macon Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Chidera George, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 17 rebounds. George is crushing the block category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Bilal Kebbay was another key contributor, scoring 20 points along with seven rebounds and five assists.
Fork Union Military Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season. As for Randolph-Macon Academy, their win was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fork Union Military Academy will challenge the Titans at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Trinity Episcopal's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last five contests. As for Randolph-Macon Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against the Warriors at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
