Cumberland Christian Home Educators' loss on Friday came despite strong showings from Joshua Sloan and Noah Hughes. Sloan scored 17 points along with seven rebounds, while Hughes scored ten points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Dyer, who scored seven points.
The victory got Williamsburg back to even at 11-11. As for Cumberland Christian Home Educators, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-11.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Williamsburg will square off against the Colonels at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cumberland Christian Home Educators, they will head out on the road to square off against the Blazers at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Kentucky (Bluegrass is ranked 250th, while the Hawks are ranked 273rd).
