After flying high against Agricultural Science  last Wednesday, Blue Island Eisenhower came back down to earth. The Cardinals fell just short of the Joliet Central Steelmen by a score of  4-3 on Tuesday. The Cardinals haven't had much luck with the Steelmen recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.
 Blue Island Eisenhower saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Adrian Torres, who  scored a  run while  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances.
Blue Island Eisenhower's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Joliet Central, they now  have a winning record of 4-3.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Blue Island Eisenhower will challenge Kennedy at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Joliet Central, they will square off against West Aurora at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
