Pine Lake Prep came tearing into Tuesday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Langtree Charter Academy Lions as they made off with a 14-6 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Pride also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Jackson Drury tossed a big game, pitching five innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Pine Lake Prep got a massive performance out of Kelton Osborne, who went 3-for-5 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Those three hits gave Osborne a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Brandt, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI.

Pine Lake Prep pushed their record up to 14-4 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Langtree Charter Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-8 record this season.

Pine Lake Prep will have a chance to go back-to-back against Langtree Charter Academy: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
