After a string of 13 wins, Madison's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They lost 11-4 to the Clintondale Dragons. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 11-3 to the Dragons when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Madison saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Shawn Dennis, who went 2-for-4 with four stolen bases and one run. Dennis has been hot for a while, having posted at least one stolen base the last 13 times he's played.

Madison's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 12-1 and their overall record down to 13-3. As for Clintondale, their victory ended a nine-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-14.

Madison does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Clintondale, they are taking a road trip to take on Marine City at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
