The Compass Rose Legacy Polar Bears's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Sunnybrook Christian Lions at 7:00 p.m. on January 16th.
Last Tuesday, things could have been worse for Compass Rose Legacy, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 56-42 loss to Lifegate Christian.
Meanwhile, Sunnybrook Christian entered their tilt with San Marcos HomeSchool with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. Sunnybrook Christian came out on top against San Marcos HomeSchool by a score of 71-60 on Friday. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Sunnybrook Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Gabe Minica led the charge by scoring 27 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Minica has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Brock Bard, who scored 20 points.
Compass Rose Legacy's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Sunnybrook Christian, they pushed their record up to 15-2 with that win, which was their third straight at home.
