The Leland Comets's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 74-20 loss at the hands of Glen Lake. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Leland has scored all season.
Glen Lake found their leader in underclassman Jacob Plamondon, who scored 24 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Those three steals set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Benji Allen, who scored nine points along with three steals.
Leland has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season. As for Glen Lake, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Leland will square off against Grand Traverse Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Glen Lake, they will head out on the road to face off against Kingsley at 7:00 p.m. on January 18th.
