The Chester Cyclones had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were just a bucket shy of victory on Wednesday and fell 40-39 to Ware Shoals.
Chester's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Ware Shoals, their win bumped their record up to 1-2.
Chester will head out on the road to face off against York at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ware Shoals, they will be playing at home against Ninety Six at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Ninety Six focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 29 on Thursday.
