Basketball Recap: Stuart Hall Sets Scoring Season-High Against Valley Christian

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Stuart Hall). Everything went their way against the Valley Christian Lions on Saturday as they made off with a 77-56 win. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Several Lions players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Josh Becker, who posted 15 points. Caleb Athey was another key player, putting up ten points.

The victory (which was Stuart Hall's third in a row) raised their record to 4-5. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.7 points over those games. As for Valley Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Looking ahead, Stuart Hall will challenge St. Joseph Notre Dame at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Valley Christian, they will take on Sacramento Waldorf at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
