Jemez Valley has struggled against Cottonwood Classical Prep recently, as their game on Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Among those leading the charge was Kaedon Petties, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and 14 rebounds. Tyler Swanson was another key contributor, scoring 10 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 steals.
Jemez Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Cottonwood Classical Prep, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Jemez Valley will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Penasco at 5:00 p.m. on December 9th. As for Cottonwood Classical Prep, they will head out on the road to face off against Thoreau at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday.
