South had won two straight games and John Glover did his part to make it three on Friday. The South Bulldogs walked away with a 64-52 victory over the Eastmoor Academy Warriors thanks in part to Glover, who posted 22 points. The dominant performance also gave Moultry a new career-high in steals (two). Another player making a difference was Phonie Simpkins, who almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine boards.
South's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Eastmoor Academy, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-8.
