The Snowflake Lobos will take on the Pima Roughriders at 1:30 p.m. on Monday. Snowflake is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8 runs per game this season.
Pima will be up against a hot Snowflake squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. The Lobos walked away with a 10-6 win over Blue Ridge on Friday.

Skip Bawden was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out 15 batters over 6.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with one stolen base.
In other batting news, Snowflake let Kyler Matthews and Aaden Coor run wild. Matthews went 3-for-5 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI, while Coor went 3-for-4 with three RBI and one run. That's the most runs Matthews has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Xavier Reidhead, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one double.
Snowflake hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their strikeout total in three consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Pima gave up the first runs on Friday, but they didn't let that get them down. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past St. Johns 6-5. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Roughriders.
Aiden Alder was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Pima is undefeated when Alder posts two or more stolen bases, but 5-8-1 otherwise.
The win got Pima back to even at 8-8-1. As for Snowflake, their victory bumped their record up to 14-6.
Pima's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Snowflake hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .361.
