Graden Buckhanan's Big Game Leads Gunnison over Pagosa Springs
Graden Buckhanan helped snap Gunnison's seven-game losing streak dating back to last season. Pagosa Springs had no answer to Buckhanan on Friday as he rushed for 245 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.8 yards per carry. Buckhanan's longest rush was for an incredible 96 yards.
Gunnison's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-6. Buckhanan's next match is against Bayfield on Saturday, where he'll look to repeat that solid effort.

Big Game from Mcmillian As Montezuma-Cortez Won 28-21
Colby Mcmillian posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 173 yards and four touchdowns on only eight carries. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 71-yard run.
The victory was the fourth in a row for Montezuma-Cortez, bringing their record for this year to 6-1. Mcmillian and Montezuma-Cortez will head out to square off against Pagosa Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Dozier Came Up Big in Pagosa Springs' 41-25 Defeat
Pagosa Springs was sadly handed a defeat on Friday, but Creede Dozier did his best to prevent it. Despite the loss, Dozier was still balling out as he threw for 200 yards and two touchdowns while completing 86.7% of his passes, and also rushed for 74 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries.
