Tacoma Ames Turns in Season-Best Effort
Sadly, Tacoma Ames posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Hays over College Station on Friday. Ames threw for 366 yards and three touchdowns.

Corcoran Came Up Big in College Station's 58-18 Victory

Noah McPeak's big game helped extend Weiss's winning streak to five on Friday. The matchup was his fourth straight with five or more total tackles. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 5.3 total tackles per game.
Weiss' win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-1. McPeak and Weiss will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against College Station at 7:00 p.m. on October 31st.
