Providence are packing up and hiking across state lines for their game on Friday. They will challenge Holy Cross on the road at 7:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps rankings project a close game.
Providence were able to grind out a solid win over Charlestown last week, winning 28-14. Senior Kaden Williams was the offensive standout of the match for Providence, as he rushed for 138 yards and 1 touchdown.
Meanwhile, Holy Cross took their matchup against Paris by a conclusive 26-0 score. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Holy Cross had established a 26-0 advantage.
Their wins lifted both teams to an identical 4-2. We'll see which team can carry over their success and which team inevitably falls when Providence and Holy Cross clash.
