The Stephens County Indians won the last time they faced the West-Oak Warriors, and things went their way on Friday too. Stephens County came out on top against West-Oak by a score of 52-42.
Despite the loss, West-Oak still got an impressive performance from Lucas Towe, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Drew Crompton, who scored ten points.
West-Oak struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only two offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Stephens County now has a winning record of 4-3. As for West-Oak, they bumped their record down to 4-8 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Stephens County will be home for the holidays to greet West Hall at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. West-Oak is on the road again on Thursday and play against Banks County at 8:30 p.m. on December 21st. One thing working in Banks County's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last five contests.
