It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but the Alturas Prep Pumas ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They secured a 49-43 W over Taylor's Crossing. The win made it back-to-back wins for Alturas Prep.
Kiearon Marshall was on fire: he dropped a triple-double on 27 points, 15 rebounds, and 11 steals. The game was his third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Simon Karroum, who scored four points along with 11 rebounds and three blocks.
Alturas Prep's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Taylor's Crossing, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing American Heritage the next time they take the court. Alturas Prep will head out to face American Heritage at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Taylor's Crossing will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2024.
