Pueblo Central extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Ladamien Davis. The Pueblo Central Wildcats snuck past the Pueblo East Eagles with a 60-56 victory on Friday thanks in part to Davis, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 18 boards. That's the most rebounds he has posted since back in December of 2024.
Pueblo East lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Jaden Garcia, who posted 14 points and four steals. Garcia is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last 15 games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Izaiah Trujillo, who almost dropped a double-double on 18 points and nine boards.
Pueblo Central's record now sits at 9-7. As for Pueblo East, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-6.
Pueblo Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 76-44 win against Pueblo Centennial on the 4th. Pueblo East has also already played their next match, a 55-25 loss against Lewis-Palmer on the 1st.
