This season hasn't been kind to the Sublette Larks, who are still winless after their sixth matchup. They suffered a rough 40-16 loss at the hands of Satanta on Friday. Sublette was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Satanta apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.
Lilli Moke was Sublette's leading scorer, having posted five points.
Lindsey Dyck held things down on the boards with ten rebounds.
Sublette's defeat was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-6. As for Satanta, their win bumped their record up to 2-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sublette will take on South Gray at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. South Gray is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. Satanta will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Deerfield at 6:30 p.m. on January 5, 2024. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Kansas (Deerfield is ranked 228th, while Satanta is ranked 230th).
