There's no place like home for North Star, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Centennial Baptist Mustangs with a sharp 69-48 win on Tuesday. The Huskies' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Centennial Baptist's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Gavin Kolb, who posted 14 points, and Cameron Tilzey, who went 6 for 8 on his way to 12 points.

North Star pushed their record up to 4-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points per game. As for Centennial Baptist, they now have a losing record at 1-2.

North Star didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 61-34 win against Idaho City on the 19th. After both having extra time off, Centennial Baptist and Greenleaf Friends Academy will shake off the cobwebs and square off against one another at 7:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
