For Buckeye's part, Hailee Paladini made a big impact no matter where she played. That's the most strikeouts Paladini has posted since back in April of 2025. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
In other batting news, Caleila Kaluna (2026) was incredible, firing off two home runs, three runs, and four RBI while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances. She is on a roll when it comes to RBI, as she's now brought in four or more in each of the last three games she's played. Destiney Litzan (2029) was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
Buckeye hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least four batters in three consecutive games.
Buckeye's record now sits at 9-4. As for Youngker, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6-1.
Thursday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Youngker hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .371. However, it's not like Buckeye struggles in that department as they've averaged .448. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
