Zayne Smith turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than three walks surrendered on Thursday. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over seven innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Switzerland County is 6-3 when he allows at most two earned runs, but 7-9 otherwise.

Coming up, Smith and Switzerland County will square off against Austin at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Pacers have some work to do to even out the 1-9 series between these two since April of 2016, but a win here would be a good start.
