Fredericktown scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They put the hurt on Delaware Christian with a sharp 67-42 victory. That 25 point margin sets a new team best for Fredericktown this season.
Cally Carpenter continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 30 points along with six rebounds and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Mya Bryant, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Fairbanks over the Jets in every quarter on their way to victory on Saturday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Fairbanks blew the Jets out of the water with a 51-8 final score. With Fairbanks ahead 33-5 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Anna Mueller was nothing short of spectacular: she scored ten points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Mara Vicari, who scored nine points.
Fredericktown has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 10-8 record this season. As for Fairbanks, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-14.
