Basketball Recap: Brilliant Piles Up the Points Against Lynn

Brilliant extended their postseason success on Tuesday against Lynn. They breezed past the Lynn Bears to the tune of 49-21. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 contests by 21 points or more this season.

Hadlee Sanderson was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 17 points and 11 boards. What's more, she also racked up six blocks, the most she's had since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Brooklyn Omary, who posted 11 points and six steals.

Brilliant has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 22-11 record this season. As for Lynn, their loss dropped their record down to 11-12.

Coming up, Brilliant will square off against Marion County at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. Marion County will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Brilliant surely won't give up without a fight. Lynn does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
