Blue Springs and Raymore-Peculiar are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2017, but not for long. The Blue Springs Wildcats will be playing in front of their home fans against the Raymore-Peculiar Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Blue Springs will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings (they are ranked 263rd, while Raymore-Peculiar is ranked 101st).
Blue Springs fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They walked away with a 62-53 victory over Truman on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Raymore-Peculiar came up short against Charles Page on Thursday and fell 61-49.
Blue Springs' win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-11. As for Raymore-Peculiar, their loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 6-8.
Blue Springs came up short against Raymore-Peculiar when the teams last played back in February of 2023, falling 51-47. Can Blue Springs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
