The Beaverhead County Beavers put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 49-0 victory over Libby at home. The result was nothing new for Beaverhead County, who have now won six matchups by 28 points or more so far this season.
KEE CHRISTEANSEN was his usual excellent self, throwing for 99 yards and three touchdowns, while also punching in a touchdown on the ground. CHRISTEANSEN was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 67 yards. Another player making a difference was MAX DAVIS, who picked up 39 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Beaverhead County's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB three times. Leading the way was LANDEN PETERSON and his two sacks.
Beaverhead County's win was their ninth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 8-0. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 34.11 points. As for Libby, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
Beaverhead County will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Havre on November 3rd. Libby does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
