Timberland is 4-0 against Kingstree since October of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Timberland Wolves will be playing at home against the Kingstree Blazers at 7:30 p.m.
After some red-hot offensive attacks in their last three matches, Timberland finally came back down to earth on Friday. They fell to Oceanside Collegiate Academy 13-7.
Meanwhile, Kingstree can now show off three landslide victories after their most recent game on Friday. They breezed by Lee Central on the road to the tune of 36-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Kingstree.
Kingstree's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ja'Shaun Dorsey led the charge by rushing for 76 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Javian Mccrea, who rushed for 119 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries.
Oceanside Collegiate Academy's win bumped their season record to 7-2 while Timberland's loss dropped theirs to 4-6.
Everything went Timberland's way against Kingstree when the teams last played back in November of 2022 as Timberland made off with a 26-6 win. Will Timberland repeat their success, or does Kingstree have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
