SWCHA Saints will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Dominican in at 7:00 PM. Neither SWCHA Saints nor Dominican could muster much offensive firepower in their last games, so look to the defense to decide this one.
SWCHA Saints had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They were given a punishing 0-46 loss at the hands of Barack Obama Career & Tech.
Meanwhile, Dominican took care of business in their home opener. Last Friday, they narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Assumption 9-6. Having pegged this as anyone's game, the MaxPreps state rankings were right on the nose.
Dominican's lifted them to 1-0 while SWCHA Saints's defeat dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if Dominican can add another positive mark to their record or if SWCHA Saints can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Dominican's step.
