Rashad Dockery Turns in Season-Best Effort
South View was led to victory by Rashad Dockery, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Dockery rushed for 320 yards and eight touchdowns while picking up 13.3 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games.
The win (which was South View's fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-2. Dockery's next matchup is against Cape Fear on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid performance.

Seventy-First picked up their eighth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Deandre Nance. Nance was unstoppable, rushing for 118 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries, while also throwing for 121 yards and two touchdowns while completing 73.3% of his passes. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 113 rushing yards.
Nance must have Purnell Swett's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. When Nance last faced the Rams back in October of 2023, he rushed for 73 yards and three touchdowns on only five carries, and also threw for 65 yards and a touchdown.

Donavan Frederick's big game helped extend Seventy-First's winning streak to eight on Friday. Frederick was unstoppable, rushing for 69 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries.
