Tomball had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against the Waller Bulldogs by a score of 9-4 on Friday. The victory was nothing new for the Cougars as they're now sitting on 20 straight.

Tomball kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Waller only managed four hits.
Tomball pushed their record up to 26-3 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Waller, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-19.
