Parker hasn't had much luck against Odyssey Institute recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Broncs will head out on the road to face off against the Minotaur at 3:45 p.m. Odyssey Institute took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Parker, who comes in off a win.
Parker barely beat Antelope the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Broncs put the hurt on the Rams with a sharp 11-1 win on Monday. That looming 11-1 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Broncs yet this season.

Blake Gilbert made a splash no matter where he played. He kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. Those 11 strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Parker is undefeated when Gilbert posts two or more runs, but 3-11 otherwise.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Eddy Panuco, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March of 2024. Maddix Young was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs.
Parker always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .519. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in four consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Odyssey Institute was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 8-1 to Kingman. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
Odyssey Institute saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Luis Lupercal Jr., who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.
Parker's record is now 7-11. As for Odyssey Institute, their loss dropped their record down to 6-9-1.
Parker came up short against Odyssey Institute in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, falling 4-1. Can the Broncs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
