Rhodes typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Rootstown proved too difficult a challenge. They were the clear victors by a 15-1 margin over the Rams. The result was nothing new for the Rovers, who have now won nine games by seven runs or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for Rootstown and bumps their season record up to 15-9. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Rhodes, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rootstown will square off against Waterloo at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Rhodes, they will challenge North Royalton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
