Despite the loss, Coronado still got an impressive performance from Dayshanay Bruner, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 10 rebounds.
Garden City's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Coronado, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Garden City will face off against Fairview at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Fairview focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 28 on Thursday. Coronado won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Palmer Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on December 1st.
