The Redfield Pheasants will take on the Groton Tigers in a tournament on Saturday.
Redfield came up short against Hamlin on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Pheasants haven't had much luck with the Chargers recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.
The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-12, 25-15.

Despite the loss, Redfield saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Katryn Evans had 12 digs. Evans is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last three games she's played.
Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Groton challenged Great Plains Lutheran on Tuesday. The Tigers put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.
The final score came out to 25-8, 25-17, 25-15.
Redfield better focus on containing Jerica Locke and McKenna Tietz as the pair were huge in Groton's win. Locke had 11 digs and one assist, while Tietz had ten digs and one assist. That's the most digs Tietz has posted over her last six contests.
Groton's victory bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Redfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Saturday's match: Redfield hasn't let much over the net this season, having averaged 6.6 blocks per game. It's a different story for Groton, though, as they've been averaging only 0.6 blocks. Given Redfield's sizable advantage in that area, the Tigers will need to find a way to close that gap.
