The Kingman Bulldogs will head out to square off against the Blue Ridge Yellow Jackets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.
Kingman is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They really took it to Wickenburg for the full four quarters, racking up a 62-7 win. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Bulldogs considering their 13-point performance the contest before.

D'ANTHONY BUSH produced another solid performance rushing for 99 yards and a pair of scores on only ten carries, while also throwing for 183 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes. His passing game has become a key predictor of Kingman's success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 1-5 otherwise. MARTIN PEREZ was another key player, picking up 72 receiving yards and one TD.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Kingman was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 384 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2024.
Kingman didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of D'ANTWAN BUSH and DARIUS MARTIN.
Meanwhile, Blue Ridge humbled ALA - Mesa North with a 39-7 victory. Considering the Yellow Jackets have won three games by more than 31 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Kingman better keep an eye on Karlo Harris. He was instrumental in Blue Ridge's win, rushing for 157 yards and four scores on only 13 carries. Harris also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up a sack and making four total tackles. Tank Hamblin also helped out as he racked up 107 rushing yards.
One reason for the win was Blue Ridge's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for six sacks. Leading the way was Brax Cluff with two.
Blue Ridge now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Kingman, their record is now 4-5.
Friday's matchup might be decided on the ground. Kingman has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 187.3 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Blue Ridge struggles in that department as they've been averaging 238.1 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's contest turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Kingman lost to Blue Ridge on the road by a decisive 28-14 margin in their previous matchup back in September of 2021. Can the Bulldogs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
